Privacy and cookies

Last updated: 24 October 2026. This is a translation: the Italian version prevails.

This page explains how the website 4ingen.it, also reachable as 4ingen.com, handles the personal data of its visitors and of those who fill in the contact form, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and the Italian Personal Data Protection Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003).

Privacy Policy

Who handles the data

The data controller is Pietro Carretta, Via Consorti 27/A, 35010 Vigonza (PD), Italy, VAT no. 05781190284, who presents his consulting work on this website under the name Projects and Governance Creative Group. For any question about your data, write to info@4ingen.com.

Which data

  • The pre-qualification form: company name, business email, phone (optional), last financial year's turnover, number of employees and type of need.
  • Browsing data: like every web server, the one hosting this site records for each request the IP address, date and time, the page requested and the browser type. They are used only to run and secure the site, and not to identify visitors.
  • Protection against repeated submissions: when the form is sent, the server keeps a fingerprint (hash) of the IP address, not the address itself, to prevent more than one submission in two minutes from the same address.

Why, and on what legal basis

  • Answering the request and assessing whether and how to work together: these are pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), so no consent is needed.
  • Site security and spam protection: the controller's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The data are not used for newsletters, advertising or profiling, and are not subject to decisions based solely on automated processing.

If the data are not provided

Filling in the form is optional, but the required fields are needed to assess the request: without them the form cannot be sent. The phone number can be left blank.

How long

  • Form requests: 12 months from submission, then they are deleted. If the request leads to an engagement, the necessary data are kept for the duration of the relationship and, afterwards, for the period required by civil and tax law (usually 10 years).
  • The IP address fingerprint: deleted at the first form submission after the two minutes have passed.
  • Browsing data: for the technical period set by the hosting provider.

Who receives them

  • IONOS SE (Germany), which hosts the site and the archive of requests, as data processor. The data stay in the European Union.
  • Google: requests also reach the controller by email, in a Gmail mailbox, and are therefore also stored on Google's servers, which may transfer them to the United States under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023).
  • The controller's collaborators who take part in the work may read the requests; they are authorised and bound to confidentiality.

The data are not sold or disclosed to anyone else, unless required by law.

Your rights

At any time you can ask to access your data, correct them, delete them, restrict their processing, receive them in a readable format (portability) and object to processing based on legitimate interest (Arts. 15–22 GDPR), by writing to info@4ingen.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).

This site uses no cookies: no technical, analytics, profiling or third-party cookies. It loads nothing from other websites, because fonts and scripts are hosted on the site itself, so no one else receives information about your visit.

The browser keeps a single piece of information, and only after the form has been sent: a time, saved in the browser's local storage (localStorage), to keep the button disabled for two minutes and prevent double submissions. It contains no personal data, is not sent to anyone and can be deleted from the browser settings.

It is a technical tool, necessary for the service the visitor asked for: for this reason it requires no consent (Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and the Italian Data Protection Authority's cookie guidelines of 10 June 2021), and the site shows no banner. If the site ever uses other tools, for instance for visitor statistics, this page will be updated first.
